BEOF to Receive Community Impact Award!
We are incredibly proud to share that the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation (BEOF), represented by Executive Director Anthony Segarra, will be honored with the Community Impact Award at the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce 2026 Peninsula Gala Awards!
For more than 60 years, BEOF has been a cornerstone of support for the Bayonne community, working every day to improve lives and create opportunities for children, families, seniors, and individuals in need.
From early childhood education and senior nutrition to housing, food security, weatherization and lead remediation programs, emergency assistance, outreach, and community-based initiatives, BEOF’s work has always been rooted in one purpose: meeting people where they are and helping our neighbors move toward greater stability and self-sufficiency.
That impact would not be possible without the dedication of our staff, Board, community partners, volunteers, donors, local businesses, fellow agencies, and the countless individuals and organizations who continue to believe in BEOF’s mission.
Under the leadership of Executive Director Anthony Segarra, BEOF continues to build upon its longstanding legacy while strengthening partnerships throughout Bayonne and Hudson County. Anthony’s commitment to collaboration, accessibility, dignity, and service reflects the values that have guided BEOF for generations: communities are strongest when we work together.
We are honored to receive this recognition from the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce and proud to celebrate the collective impact of everyone who has played a role in BEOF’s work throughout the years.
