Help Us to Help Hudson County
Since 1965 Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation has helped more than 73,000 residents of Bayonne and Hudson County. Through a combination of government funding and generous private contributions, we have provided meals and companionship, emergency and permanent shelter, and free transportation. We have helped prepare children in low-income households and those with special needs to succeed in school—and beyond. By providing temporary financial assistance and supportive counseling, we help individuals and families rise above financial crisis to achieve long-term stability.
Our proven success has helped us secure additional funding and expanded our service area to Hudson County for specific programs.
Yet many more men, women, and children need our help.
Won’t you help us expand our services within the community with one or more of the following?
Your Time
We need more volunteers to help us staff such programs as Meals on Wheels, the nutrition sites, the food pantry, and others.
Your Talent
Are you handy around the house? Do you speak and/or write another language? Our Cultural Affairs division and home maintenance programs need skilled volunteers to help us meet community members’ needs.
Your Money
All of our programs and services require funding. Any monetary gift you can make can provide an additional meal, support the education of an additional child, and help keep an additional family in their home.
