Robotics Program for Children at Bayonne Library

July 22, 2019 @ 1:30 pm

Mayor Jimmy Davis and Library Director JP Porcaro are happy to announce that the Bayonne Free Public Library will be hosting a robotics program on Monday, July 22, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. in the library’s gallery.
This program is for children ages 9 to 12, no exceptions.  In this exciting new program, robotics and coding will become elementary. Ozobots are tiny smart robots. The children will be able to create different landscapes and games, and will learn to code for the Ozobots. This STEM-inspired program opens the door to computer science. The children will learn OzoBlocky, a block-based visual editor program.
Registration for the program will begin on Monday, July 15, and will continue to Friday, July 19, or until the program is filled, whichever comes first.  There is space for only 30 children.  They must be Bayonne residents.  Registration will take place in the Children’s Room.
