DESCRIPTION:William B. Sampson IV made history in January 2022 by becoming the first African American State Legislator from the City of Bayonne. In recognition of African Americans who have played a trailblazing role\, Assemblyman Sampson has been chosen to receive the Dr. Martin Luther King Community Service Award during Black History Month. This award will be presented by the New Progressive Leadership of Tomorrow at its Dr. Martin Luther King Breakfast and Awards Program. The program will be held on Saturday\, February 12\, 2022 at the Chandelier 1081 Broadway in Bayonne. The event will begin at 8:30AM and will include local entertainment. Breakfast will be served.
